Germany - Tübingen and the Radio Tower

Went to lunch in Tübingen today with our customer. We ate at a great place called "The Kelter", which means old winery. It was a large, older building that they turned into a big open studio, and put a second floor in that is completely open to the lower level with bridges and stairways getting to the different areas. The trip to the bathrooms was an adventure, up the stairs, across a bridge, through a tight space into another room above the main floor, a couple of dead ends, then you find another winding staircase, and finally, I think you are on the 4th floor and you find it. Here are the few pics a took

This is a picture from the bridge to the bathroom overlooking the main floor where we ate, there is a food bar on the right, a wine bar on the left. You can see part of the second level on the upper left, and way in the back, you can see another bridge to another upper seating area.

View from the path to the bathroom, more seating areas and stairs to the upper level. You can see the old wood used to support this place, most of the structure of the building was like this.

After lunch we took a quick stroll through the town, we didn't have a lot of time so we moved quickly and didn't get to see everything, but here is what we did get to see.

Like I said, we were in a hurry, so this is all I have. Martin said there is a lot more to see in this town though. I think if I had more time I would definitely go back, it's only about 40 minutes from Stuttgart.

Next, we had some time before dinner, so we checked out the radio tower in Stuttgart.

Some great views of Stuttgart and the surrounding areas
